Field Visits: Perspectives from ARC’s Field Program in Liberia

The American Refugee Committee (ARC) works with more than 300,000 people in Liberia. Join us to hear from ARC volunteer Eve Lotter, who supported ARC’s gender-based violence prevention programs in Liberia for the past 7 months. Eve will share stories of people who are taking back control of their lives in Liberia as the country rebuilds. She will also discuss ARC’s programs in the region and share footage from ARC’s participatory video project “Through our Eyes.”

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Eve Alexandra Lotter holds a MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley. Her work with the American Refugee Committee (ARC) in Liberia was generously supported by the Upper Midwest Human Rights Fellowship Program. Eve has been a research fellow with the Human Rights Center at the University of Minnesota and has volunteered with the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission Diaspora Project spearheaded by Minnesota Advocates for Human Rights.
